We evaluate taxonomic and distributional information in adapting identification tools for loccal and regional focus. We also study sensitive (endangered, threatened and rare) moss species and their habitats, and assist in the preparation of biological reports for submission to land use regulatory agencies.
MUSCI conducts original research on the moss species within the North San Francisco Bay Areaof Caliornia. And, develops multiple entry keys for their identification.
